Hello! My name is Ann White and I am a native Floridian, urban gardener, college composition instructor, bunny lover and advocate of living without waste. And I'm wild about aeroponic gardening!
I was introduced to this growing system in the late 1980s when a co-worker offered me one of the largest, juiciest and tastiest tomatoes ever, and told me she grew it hydroponically. I can still recall its size, the bright sheen, its vibrant red color, the smell and its hearty taste. I'd never experienced a tomato like this before.
Shortly, after, I decided to grow my own and tended a community garden plot for several years. My harvests were modest but organic. But I was still in search of that Perfect Tomato.
It has taken several years but I am about to experience that Perfect Tomato. I now have my own hydroponic growing system called the Tower Garden. My first harvest is a few weeks away but already, I am convinced that this is by far the most ecological, most economical and best way to enjoy healthy and fresh produce.
Join me in my mild adventures in green living as I record the living cycles of aeroponic gardening. You'll also meet my bun buns, Stormy and Dunkin, who have already tasted the fruits of the Tower Garden. Lucky Bunnies!
